Nigerian DJ and music personality, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has dismissed the idea of sibling rivalry in her family, saying her sisters’ recent successes only inspire her.
Cuppy, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, took to social media to congratulate her sisters singer Tolani and actress Temi, on their latest achievements.
While Tolani just released a new album titled “Sht I Nvr Finished”, Temi starred in a new movie, “Ms Kayin”, which has drawn attention.
Reacting to their milestones, Cuppy said she felt no pressure or jealousy, but rather motivation.
“Siblings are not competition. They are inspiration,” she wrote.
Cuppy, who has carved out a name for herself in the entertainment industry as a DJ and philanthropist, added that she is proud of her sisters and the different paths they have taken.
Her comments come amid ongoing conversations around sibling rivalry and expectations within high-profile families.
