Popular Nollywood actor and social media personality, Lege Miami, has stirred reactions online after claiming that international news network, CNN, planned to embarrass him by inviting him for an interview.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, the actor, known for his humour and matchmaking shows, revealed that he turned down the interview request because of his struggles with English.
“I ran away. All Nigerians, guess what. CNN News invite me for an interview, I ran away,” he said in the video.
Lege further explained that he believed the interview was a setup to ridicule him on a global stage. “They want to disgrace me, they want to embarrass me. I can’t speak good English oooo,” he added.
The clip has since gone viral, sparking mixed reactions from fans. While some commended him for being honest about his fears, others took it as comic relief.
Lege Miami, whose real name is Adams Kehinde, is known for his matchmaking show on Instagram and his comic roles in Yoruba movies.
