    Share

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that registration for the 2025 Batch C orientation exercise will begin on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, for both locally and foreign-trained graduates.

The scheme made this known in a notice posted on its official Facebook page on Sunday. According to the announcement, the online registration exercise will run for five days, from November 4 to 9, 2025.

“Important notice: Online registration for 2025 Batch C commences Tuesday, 4th November, 2025,” the NYSC wrote.

The notice also included a tentative mobilisation timetable outlining key activities leading up to the orientation course. According to the schedule, physical verification of credentials for foreign-trained graduates will take place from November 9 to 13, while ICT action—an internal process within the NYSC system—will hold between November 12 and 15.

The NYSC added that the online printing of deployment and call-up letters by corps-producing institutions will be done between November 16 and 18. During the same period, prospective corps members are expected to print their call-up letters from the NYSC portal.

The agency, however, noted that the exact dates for the 2025 Batch C orientation course will be announced later, after the registration and verification processes have been completed.

Meanwhile, the NYSC also reminded absconded corps members from the 2025 Batch B cycle that the remobilisation portal is currently open and will close on November 3, 2025, a day before the new registration window begins.

The NYSC urged all prospective corps members to ensure that their information on the portal is accurate and that they follow official channels during the registration period. It also warned applicants to beware of fake websites and individuals claiming to offer assistance in the registration process.

The National Youth Service Corps, established in 1973, is a mandatory one-year programme for Nigerian graduates under 30 years old. The scheme was created to promote national unity, encourage youth development, and foster integration among the country’s diverse ethnic groups.

Each year, graduates from universities and polytechnics within and outside Nigeria are mobilised for the service year, which begins with a three-week orientation course at designated camps across the country. The programme also includes community development service (CDS), primary assignments, and a passing-out ceremony at the end of the service year.

As registration begins for the new batch, the NYSC management is expected to provide further details about camp locations and reporting procedures in the coming weeks.

Prospective corps members are advised to keep visiting the official NYSC portal and verified social media pages for authentic updates on the mobilisation process.
