Obaigbena: Nigeria Can Thrive Only on Justice

    Share

Nduka Obaigbena, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of THISDAY-ARISE Media Group, has urged that Nigeria can only achieve lasting development when the nation is grounded in justice, fairness, and prosperity.

Speaking on Monday during an Arewa Consultative Forum hosted by Arise Television, Obaigbena highlighted the importance of building a balanced and inclusive society where all citizens can benefit from progress.

“Nigeria works for all of us and it can work even better. What we need is a fair and equitable Nigeria, founded on justice and prosperity. And we will continue to fight for justice,” he said.

Obaigbena noted that the country is currently undergoing reforms aimed at improving governance, stimulating economic growth, and uplifting citizens from poverty. He urged support for initiatives that ensure more Nigerians are lifted out of hardship.

“We will support sensible reforms, which are happening now. We simply need to lift more people out of poverty, and that is the direction,” Obaigbena added, highlighting that equitable policies are key to national unity and sustainable development.
