A fresh controversy has erupted in the household of billionaire politician and businessman, Senator Ned Nwoko, following explosive allegations made by one of his wives, Laila Charani, against her co-wife and Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.
In a fiery post shared on Instagram, Laila, who hails from Morocco, accused Regina of introducing her to drugs and causing deep tension within their polygamous home. “How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly?” she wrote. “I am very content with the provisions my husband makes for our family. We should show Nigerians our bank accounts to see who is paying money into whose account.”
The Moroccan wife went on to accuse Regina of being the source of conflict between her and Senator Nwoko, alleging that the actress had become a problem in their marriage because her husband wanted her to stop her alleged use of drugs and alcohol.
“You also know that my husband completely hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking. The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction,” Laila claimed.
In her post, Laila further claimed that Regina’s influence had been negative from the very beginning. According to her, the actress introduced her to drugs about six years ago and continued to expose domestic workers and even family members to substance abuse.
“You have been a bad influence since you married into this beautiful family, giving drugs to nannies and our workers, including your younger sister Destiny,” she alleged.

“Please go and sort yourself out. Seek help immediately and continue with your rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of this,” she warned in the post that has since gone viral.
