The Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has marked her 70th birthday amidst an overwhelming wave of love and support from across the globe.
In a rare personal tweet, the economist and former minister of finance shared her joy, describing the day as “one of the happiest” of her life.
She expressed deep appreciation to her husband, WTO ambassadors, staff, friends, and family for their outpouring of affection.
