Bandits have once again terrorised communities in Zamfara State, attacking Chediya community in Tsafe Local Government Area on Monday afternoon.
The gunmen killed several people, abducted many residents, and set houses on fire. They also looted homes and stole livestock, leaving the community in shock and fear.
This violent raid happened less than 24 hours after a similar attack in Kucheri community, also in Zamfara State, showing a troubling rise in banditry in the region.
Local sources report that the bandits moved swiftly to cause destruction and panic, but official figures on casualties and abductees have not yet been released by authorities.
The repeated attacks have left residents desperate for government intervention and increased security presence to restore peace in the troubled area.
