The search began after Chude Nnamdi (@chude__), a Twitter user, shared a poignant post detailing the girl’s story.
According to the tweet, the young woman, born to a Filipino mother and a Nigerian father named Paschal Ogbuagu Nnanna, has been seeking her father since he left the Philippines shortly after her birth.
The tweet included a photo of the girl and her father’s passport, which lists him as being from Enugu State, Nigeria. However, the tweet did not include the name of the girl or her mother.
The post urged people to help spread the word in hopes of locating him.
