How God Saved Me From Aggressive Cancer – Oritsejafor

    Share

Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, a prominent Nigerian pastor and founder of Word of Life Bible Church (WLBC) in Warri, Delta State, has recently shared a remarkable testimony about his recovery from a severe cancer diagnosis.

Speaking to his congregation recently, Oritsejafor, who also served as the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), recounted his miraculous journey from illness to recovery.

Oritsejafor, 71, began his narrative by describing the severity of his condition.

He revealed that he had been diagnosed with a type of cancer that was highly aggressive, though he chose not to disclose the specific kind.

During his address, Oritsejafor shared a poignant story about an acquaintance who had faced a similar diagnosis.

According to him, as he was preparing to travel to the United States for medical treatment, another individual with the same cancer was heading to the United Kingdom for treatment.

Tragically, the acquaintance passed away and was flown back to Nigeria in a casket on the same day Pastor Oritsejafor returned home.

“I went to America, and he went to the UK,” Oritsejafor said. “The day I boarded the flight, coming back to Nigeria, he was in a casket, coming back to Nigeria. You hear me? I was with my two feet. I walked onto the plane, but he wasn’t.”

He emphasised that his survival was not due to any personal superiority but rather the result of divine intervention.

“I’m not better than him. But God remembered me. He remembered my heart. I have always had a heart for God,” Oritsejafor reflected.

“I told God, if you save me from this, I will double my service. I will serve you twice more. And he saved me and brought me home.”
