A wedding in Bauchi State turned into a scene of mourning after a tragic accident claimed the lives of the groom, Abba Musa, and the bride’s elder sister, Maryam Suleiman, just moments before the ceremony was set to take place. The incident has left the families involved, as well as the entire community of Boto in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area, in deep shock and sorrow.
The accident occurred in Boto, a village located in the northern part of Bauchi State. According to reports, the victims were en route to the wedding ceremony, coming from Murno, a nearby village just 5 kilometres away, when the tragedy struck. The news of the accident spread quickly, sending waves of grief through the village, as the wedding was expected to be one of the happiest moments for the families.
The groom, Abba Musa, and the bride’s sister, Maryam Suleiman, were reportedly travelling together when the accident occurred.
