    Air Peace Flights Resume as Strike is Suspended

    Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline and the largest carrier in West and Central Africa, has announced the resumption of all its flight operations starting today, Friday, April 25, 2025. This comes after the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) and other aviation labour unions suspended their industrial action that had disrupted flight schedules.

    In a statement issued on Thursday night, Air Peace thanked its customers for their patience and support during the disruption. The airline also commended the decisive role played by the Honourable Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, whose efforts led to the timely resolution of the strike and the restoration of normalcy in the aviation sector.

    The airline also extended its appreciation to Keyamo for his leadership and transparent approach to resolving the issues, highlighting his commitment to improving the aviation industry in Nigeria.

    Air Peace’s statement praised the intervention of the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, for his active engagement with all stakeholders and swift action in bringing the strike to an end. According to the airline, his commitment helped stabilize the aviation sector, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of flights.
