The Nigerian military has successfully neutralized five Boko Haram insurgents in a renewed offensive in the Ladin Buttu area of Sambisa Forest, Borno State. The operation, conducted under the ongoing Operation Hadin Kai, resulted in the recovery of three AK-47 rifles, five loaded magazines, and other military equipment.
Ladin Buttu, a known logistics and transit hub for Boko Haram, has been a strategic target in the military’s efforts to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in the region. The recent engagement occurred during a clearance patrol, where troops encountered and engaged insurgents, leading to the elimination of five fighters and the recovery of arms and supplies.
