The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has removed Ellie Bitar, a suspect linked to the controversial Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), from its wanted list. The decision was made following new information that cleared him of any involvement in the alleged fraud surrounding the company.
EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale confirmed the development on Wednesday, stating that the Commission had made progress in its ongoing investigations. While Bitar has been delisted, seven other individuals remain on the wanted list for their suspected roles in the fraud. The remaining suspects are:

-Emmanuel Uko
-Adefowora Oluwanisola
-Adefowora Abiodun Olanipekun
-Johnson Okiroh Ofienolu
-Israel Mbalika
-Joseph Michiro Kabera
-Serah Michiro
Oyewale emphasized that the EFCC is intensifying its efforts, with law enforcement agencies worldwide collaborating in the search for these individuals. He reassured the public that the Commission would continue to pursue all those involved in the fraudulent activities linked to CBEX.
The Crypto Bridge Exchange fraud, which has affected many individuals, is under investigation as a major financial crime. The EFCC remains committed to bringing all suspects to justice.
