Pastor Ibiyeomie Issues Strong Warning to Bloggers, Vows Arrest Over Negative Reports

    Share

Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has warned bloggers and online content creators to stay away from reporting negatively about him or his ministry, threatening arrest and police action for anyone who crosses the line.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Pastor Ibiyeomie accused some bloggers of deliberately twisting his sermons and spreading misleading information to tarnish his image. He also alleged that certain individuals within his church are collaborating with outsiders to misrepresent him.

“Don’t carry my news. I don’t want your news. You won’t make me popular. Already, I am talking to the world,” Ibiyeomie said during a church service. “Good or bad, don’t carry my news. Don’t carry news from this church.”

The pastor, known for his fiery preaching style, did not mince words as he addressed the issue. He made it clear that he would no longer tolerate what he described as misrepresentation and cyber attacks from online platforms.

“My gospel is: before you slap, I slap you. I am not that kind of pastor that keeps quiet. Young man, I will fight you,” he said.

Ibiyeomie specifically warned bloggers and church members he believes are responsible for spreading false narratives. “You know what they do? They will carry news and incite other bloggers. And some of you in this church are part of it. They plant you inside the church, and instead of you listening to the message and getting blessed, you now pick one thing and twist it, say what I didn’t say,” he added.

The cleric also suggested that he knows the identities of some of the bloggers and is prepared to take legal and police action if provoked again.

“My type, when I go after people, they will now send people to come and beg. So I’m warning you for the last time. Next time, there will be nothing like a warning. If you dare it,” he said.

He continued, “A young man, I know you. Your father won’t beg me, I know your father too. Your mother won’t beg me. I will deal with you.”

Pastor Ibiyeomie also addressed critics who might question his actions as a religious leader using police to make arrests. He was unapologetic, stating that he is not interested in public opinion when it comes to protecting his name and ministry.

“So, when I go the other way, don’t come back to say this man of God is now using the police to arrest people. I will arrest you. I will lock you up. I don’t care. No man of God will pray for you and succeed,” he said.

The video has sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting the pastor’s stance while others have criticised his approach, describing it as aggressive and unbecoming of a religious leader.

As of now, no formal legal action has been reported, but the pastor’s message serves as a clear warning to those who use online platforms to criticise religious figures.
