Premier League Star Solomon Stranded in Israel After Wedding Amid Iran Conflict

    Share

Tottenham forward Manor Solomon and his new wife, Dana Voshina, are stranded in Israel after traveling there to get married. The couple, together since 2018, tied the knot last Thursday just days after Solomon played for Israel in a World Cup qualifying match against Estonia.

Their wedding celebration, filled with joy and family, has been overshadowed by escalating tensions between Israel and Iran. The two countries have launched missile attacks against each other, leading to the suspension of flights out of Israel until at least the end of June.

According to reports, Solomon and his wife remain trapped in the country along with tens of thousands of other foreigners, including many British nationals. This is not the first time Solomon has been caught in a conflict zone; he was evacuated from Ukraine in 2022 during Russia’s invasion while playing for Shakhtar Donetsk.

Other footballers have also been affected by the conflict. Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi was recently stuck in Tehran after returning for international duty.

The situation remains uncertain as the conflict continues to disrupt travel and daily life in the region.
