Iran-Israel Conflict: US Issues Global Travel Warning to Citizens

    Share

The United States Department of State has issued a “Worldwide Caution” advisory following rising tensions between Iran and Israel, warning its citizens to be alert when traveling or living abroad.

According to the advisory, the conflict has already disrupted air travel and led to the periodic closure of airspace across parts of the Middle East.

“There is the potential for demonstrations against U.S. citizens and interests abroad,” the statement said. The department urged Americans to review travel advisories, country-specific information, and recent security alerts before making travel plans.

The alert, released through the US State Department’s travel website, comes as global concerns grow over the possibility of the Iran-Israel conflict spilling into neighbouring regions. Citizens were also reminded to stay informed about local conditions and avoid areas with high security risks.

The US government said it is monitoring the situation closely and may update travel advice as needed.
