Ijaw Group Warns Klintoncod Against Attacks on Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin

    Share

The Ijaw Progressive Forum (IPF) has issued a stern warning to social media personality Mr. Ekene Clinton Egbuna, popularly known as Klintoncod, over his continued online criticism of Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry.

In a statement released in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, the IPF President, Comrade Peretimi Ebiowei, described Klintoncod’s recent social media posts as defamatory, disrespectful, and an insult to the Ijaw people and their values.

“Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is a father figure to many and a spiritual leader we hold in the highest regard,” Ebiowei said. “It is disappointing that Klintoncod takes pleasure in mocking and insulting him through baseless allegations and unprintable names.”

According to the IPF, Klintoncod had recently used his online platforms to accuse Prophet Fufeyin of fraud and questioned his role in the Christian faith, labeling him a negative force. The group said these statements amount to character assassination and are offensive to the Ijaw Nation, where Fufeyin is seen as a respected spiritual and community leader.

The IPF made it clear that it would no longer remain silent. “We are actively monitoring his posts, and we will use all lawful means to defend the integrity of Prophet Fufeyin,” Ebiowei warned.

“This is the final warning to Mr. Klintoncod and his co-travelers in this shameful behavior. Any further insult to our faith and heritage will be met with appropriate legal response.”

Ebiowei also called on media outlets, digital platforms, and the general public to act responsibly by verifying information before sharing, especially when it targets religious leaders. He noted that such content can damage not just reputations but also the unity and moral fabric of communities.

Prophet Fufeyin, the group said, is not only known for his spiritual role but also for his numerous charitable and humanitarian efforts that have impacted lives across Nigeria and beyond.

“Spiritual matters are not for carnal minds,” Ebiowei added. “Klintoncod clearly lacks understanding of things of the Spirit.”

The IPF concluded by stating that any future attacks on Prophet Fufeyin would be considered a direct affront to the Ijaw Nation’s values and identity.
