Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State marked his 60th birthday today with warm wishes and tributes from members of his administration and residents across the state.
In an official message posted by the Lagos State Government, Governor Sanwo-Olu was described as a “visionary leader” and “a true servant of the people” whose dedication and leadership have brought visible progress to the state.
“Thank you for your unwavering dedication, impactful leadership, and passion for progress. Wishing you strength, wisdom, and many more years of remarkable service,” the message read.
The tribute was jointly signed by key members of the Lagos State Government, including Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Commissioner for Information and Strategy Gbenga Omotoso, and Head of Service Olumide Sogunle.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, who has led Lagos State since May 2019, is currently serving his second term in office. Under his leadership, Lagos has focused on infrastructure, healthcare, transportation, and youth empowerment as part of the administration’s THEMES agenda.
