The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) National Executive Committee (NEC) has officially affirmed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s National Secretary.
The announcement was made on Monday by the party’s Acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, after the NEC meeting held at the PDP headquarters in Abuja.
Damagum said the affirmation of Anyanwu was among the key decisions taken by the NEC, which is the highest decision-making body of the PDP.
“Let it be clear that the NEC has affirmed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the National Secretary of our great party,” Damagum said.
The confirmation is expected to strengthen the party’s leadership team as it prepares for upcoming political challenges.
