Nigerian political commentator and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has launched a manhunt for two unidentified X (formerly Twitter) users who allegedly made death threats against Peter Obi’s wife, Margaret Obi, and their children.

In a post shared on his verified X handle, Omokri said he is offering a ₦3 million reward for credible information that will lead to the identification of the individuals behind the threats. He is offering ₦1.5 million each for the identities of the two separate individuals.

“These threats must stop. We must learn to disagree without being disagreeable,” Omokri stated. He noted that he and his own family have also been victims of similar threats in the past, and he’s determined to curb the rising trend of politically motivated harassment online.

Omokri disclosed that the ₦3 million reward has already been handed over to Reverend Emmanuel Ojeifo Omokugbo of the Catholic Church, who will verify the information provided and ensure the reward is paid once the identities are confirmed.

He urged Nigerians with any leads to drop relevant information in the comment section of his X post or reach out through proper channels.
