Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a respected Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, has been laid to rest in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. He was buried on Tuesday evening at the famous Baqiyya Cemetery, in accordance with his final wishes.
Dantata passed away on Friday night in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Before his burial, funeral prayers were held at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah shortly after the Asr prayer. The ceremony drew hundreds of Nigerians, including family members, government officials, and well-wishers, who came to pay their last respects.
