Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a respected Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, has been laid to rest in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. He was buried on Tuesday evening at the famous Baqiyya Cemetery, in accordance with his final wishes.
Dantata passed away on Friday night in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Before his burial, funeral prayers were held at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah shortly after the Asr prayer. The ceremony drew hundreds of Nigerians, including family members, government officials, and well-wishers, who came to pay their last respects.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata was not only a wealthy businessman but also known for his generosity and support for the less privileged in Nigeria. Following his death, tributes have poured in from across the country, with many praising his lifelong commitment to helping others.
