Head coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, has released a 35-man provisional squad for Nigeria’s B team ahead of the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The CHAN tournament is set to take place in August and will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Unlike the regular Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), CHAN is only open to players who play in their home country’s domestic leagues.
Nigeria is placed in Group D alongside defending champions Senegal, as well as Sudan and Congo. A total of 19 countries will participate in this 8th edition of the tournament.
The Super Eagles B squad includes five goalkeepers, 11 defenders, nine midfielders, and 10 attackers, all from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Coach Chelle is expected to trim the list ahead of the tournament as preparations continue.
