President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the country is in safe hands, and his administration is fully committed to restoring peace, law, and order—especially in areas affected by violence and banditry.

The President gave this reassurance on Tuesday through the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, during the commissioning of new housing units in Kaduna State. The homes were built in partnership with the Qatar Charity Organisation to support communities that have suffered from insecurity.

“We will restore law and order. That is an assurance we are giving. It will be done,” Tinubu declared.

According to the President, noticeable progress has been made in Kaduna, where peace is slowly returning. He described the situation in the state as hopeful, noting that things are beginning to change for the better.

“We are wiping the tears of victims of extreme violence. We are reconciling communities and creating a sense of inclusion for all,” Tinubu said, promising that the welfare of displaced persons remains a top priority for his government.
