Zinwe Evicted After Four Weeks of BBNaija

    Share

The drama continues to unfold in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) house as the show enters its fourth week. This week, the viewers had a significant role to play in deciding who stays and who leaves, following a tense nomination process on Monday night.

The housemates faced their first major nomination round this week. Five pairs were put up for eviction based on the nominations from their fellow housemates. These pairs included:

    – Zinwe (Zion and Chinwe)

    – Doublekay

    – Beta

    – Wanni x Handi

The housemates had to face the viewers’ verdict to determine who would be evicted. The result of the voting showed that Zinwe received the least support from the audience and were therefore evicted.

This week, Nelita (Nelly and Anita) won the Head of House (HoH) challenge. As winners, they earned immunity from eviction for the week and gained special access to the Head of House lounge.

They chose Aces (Sooj and Topher) to join them in the lounge. Unlike previous weeks, the Head of House did not have the power to save a nominated housemate and replace them with another.

The HoH game is a crucial part of the BBNaija season as it offers safety from eviction and a chance to enjoy exclusive privileges within the house. Nelita’s win was especially significant because it provided them with a break from the pressure of possible eviction.

The voting results were as follows:

    Chekas: 17.34%

    Beta: 14.04%

    Zinwe: 12.76%

Zinwe received the lowest percentage of votes and, unfortunately, became the latest pair to leave the BBNaija house. The eviction was a tough blow for both Zion and Chinwe. Chinwe, still shaken from last week’s eviction, had prepared herself for anything this week. Zion, however, took their exit in stride, seeing it as a lesson in patience and resilience.

He encouraged fans to remember Chinwe with positivity, saying, “Expect Chinwe FOR LIFE!”

This week’s eviction marks a turning point in BBNaija Season 9. The game has intensified as housemates now face the reality that viewer support is crucial for survival. With Zinwe out of the house, the competition grows fiercer as the remaining pairs fight for the grand prize.

The grand prize for this season is an impressive ₦100 million, which includes both cash and a new SUV. Additional sponsored prizes will be revealed later in the season. The show is set to run for 10 weeks, concluding with a grand finale on October 6, 2024.
