Residents of Gwarimpa in Abuja woke up to a disturbing scene on Tuesday, June 17, as a young woman was found dead in suspicious circumstances at House 91, 3rd Avenue.
According to reports, the yet-to-be-identified lady was discovered in the early hours of the morning with her hands tied behind her back. Signs of a struggle at the scene have led to fears that she may have been murdered.
Locals who gathered near the house expressed shock and fear over the incident, which they described as strange and frightening.
“It looks like she struggled before she died. Her hands were tied, and the whole thing is just too painful to see,” one resident said.
As of the time of this report, authorities had not released full details of what transpired, and the identity of the deceased remains unknown.
Police are believed to have begun investigations into the incident, which many fear may be linked to a rising wave of violent crimes in parts of the Federal Capital Territory.
