Osimhen’s Hopes Dim as Juventus Eye Jonathan David

    Share

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is facing a tough challenge in his quest for a permanent transfer, as Juventus move quickly to sign Canadian forward Jonathan David.

David, a former Lille star, became a free agent after his contract with the French club expired. Juventus is close to securing his signature as they look for a replacement for striker Dusan Vlahovic, whose future at the club remains uncertain ahead of the new season.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, talks between Juventus and David have progressed rapidly, with the deal expected to be completed soon. David scored 37 goals and made 15 assists in 83 matches for Lille, making him a strong candidate for Juventus’ next key striker.

This development puts Osimhen, who has been linked with Juventus as one of the few clubs interested in him this summer, in a difficult position as his transfer options seem to be shrinking.

As the transfer window heats up, Osimhen will have to explore other possibilities to secure his future away from Napoli.
