Legendary Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, known as 2Face, has said he owes no explanation to the public over his separation from actress Annie Macaulay.
The singer announced his split from Annie in an Instagram post on January 26, 2025, which sparked wide controversy. The situation intensified when 2Face began showing off his new partner, Natasha Osawuru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
In a recent interview with 234 Mzansi Podcast, 2Face stated clearly that only his children deserve explanations about the divorce.
“My kids are the only people I owe an explanation,” he said.
2Face explained that the marriage ended because it “wasn’t working anymore.” He praised Annie as an “amazing person” and said they had “a good run” together. Despite their efforts to save the marriage, it was not enough.
The couple married in May 2012 and share two daughters, Isabella and Olivia.
